How do I get a Gmail invite from this blog?

If your name is located in the Candidates List in the side bar of this blog, then you are well on your way to receiving an invite. Many people have already received invites from this blog and the invites just keep on rolling in. Have patience and check your junk mail folders!

If your name is not on the Candidates List, then add a comment here requesting an invite. I shall direct those with invites to this post, so you'll be sure to get noticed! Tell us a little something about yourself, if you'd like or just say "gimme an invite!" Regardless, please do remember to provide both a name (either your real name or your handle) and the e-mail address to which you'd like the invite sent. Note: If you have either Yahoo or Hotmail, make sure to check your junk folders for your invite.

Please delete your comment once you have received an invite so that the next in line can get his/hers.

    My name is Will Jacob and I'm pretty much searching desperately for a gmail account. I've put up with a lot of stuff to get one-- People have had me send them dirt, leaves, pictures, phone ringtones, post-it notes, grocery lists, etc. in return for an account, but they never sent me an invite after all my efforts. A lot of people have made that half-hearted guarantee of "Send me lots of mail so I can get invites and I'll send you one," but of course, that never seems to work either.

    So I suppose I am just about begging you for a Gmail address. If you want something in return, name it. I can send you a snail-mail or email with something if you wish, or I can write something creative for you (poem, story, whatever). I'm hoping that soon my search will come to a close and I will no longer have to put up with some of these ridiculous favors people ask- thanks!

    I'm Saad...From Bangladesh...i have so many email accounts in different places but still i dont know why i'm so nuts about GMAIL. well probably its becoz I LOVE GOOGLE. Its THE BEST search engine EVER made. and so i think their email service will be hell lot fastr than other email providers. Moreover they are offering 1 GB of storage. Some other providerz are also giving out 1 gb e.g. rediffmail and spymac. But though GOOGLE IS GOOGLE :D

    My name's Chad and have been around the web with my blog (www.chadness.com) for over two years (longer than that, really, but I used other online blogging services like Xanga).

    I'm looking to try out GMail because I've gone and just forgotten about Hotmail and Yahoo Mail because of all the spam I've been getting there. I like keeping one free web-based e-mail account around - you never know when it may come in handy.

    That, and I've always been a big fan of Google and it's the only search engine I use, so you can imagine having a GMail account would be something interesting to me.
